Hookr

Scores a short-form video before you post it and tells you exactly what to fix.

The problem

Short-form creators learn whether a video works only after posting, when nothing can be changed. Studying viral content by hand is slow, subjective, and rarely ends in a concrete list of what to change next.

The solution

Hookr scores a video before publishing: paste a TikTok or Instagram link or upload a file, pick a niche, and get a Viral Score from 0 to 100, a breakdown across eight dimensions and a prioritised fix list, in under a minute, matched against a continuously updated corpus of viral content.

How it is built

A mobile-first web app on the Richi framework stack: Supabase backend, edge functions around the analysis pipeline, typed contracts end to end. The scoring model separates corpus refresh from request-time scoring, so results stay fast while the reference data stays current.

Learnings

A single score is what creators remember; the eight-dimension breakdown is what makes it actionable. Both were needed. The score alone felt like a verdict, the breakdown alone felt like homework.

Status

In testing with creators in English, German and Spanish markets.
